Let’s explore Pluto’s journey through Aquarius and what it means for our evolving intelligence, sense of identity, and the new beginnings on our horizon.

The Power of the Outer Planets: Setting the Stage for Change

In recent years, we’ve witnessed some profound astrological shifts. Outer planets changing signs from 2023 to 2026 signal new chapters for humanity. A rare triangle of outer planet energies, peaking in a potent cradle alignment in July 2026, opens doors to unprecedented growth. Jupiter’s movement into Leo highlights leadership and bold creative expression, while the Saturn-Neptune conjunction marks the dawn of a new 35-year cycle—cultivating new dreams and realities.

Pluto in Aquarius: Transformation and the Future of Intelligence

Pluto’s move into Aquarius invites us to step into greater authenticity and courageous leadership. What does this mean for the way we think, learn, and evolve? And how does it tie into the rise of artificial intelligence, and more importantly, the untapped potential of our own human intelligence?

Pluto is the planet of truth, power, depth, and transformation. It takes us deep—to the places where things are most real, most honest, and most in need of change. Pluto’s energy can show up as power struggles, attempts to control, or the process of letting go and becoming something new.

Think of a snake shedding its skin or a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. Pluto asks us to release old identities and step into new ways of being—both individually and collectively.

Pluto is the great transformer, clearing away what is no longer meaningful and ushering us into the liminal space—that mysterious in-between where we’re neither who we were, nor yet who we will become.

And the liminal space is the space that occurs between death and rebirth. It's that moment when the caterpillar is in the cocoon and completely liquefies. Liminal is when you have let go of the old, but you have not yet become the new. Pluto is about where we must let go of the old without yet becoming the new or knowing what that new phase will bring or how it's going to take shape, what it's going to look like. And so it's definitely not comfortable. And anyone who has given birth or been around someone giving birth knows it's not easy.

Pluto’s journey is a deep dive into the underworld, like the myth of Persephone—a descent that changes us forever. Now, Pluto will be in Aquarius for about 20 years, until 2043–2044, sparking collective and personal transformation on a massive scale.

Rebellion and Revolution

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, from 1777–1798, the world saw tremendous upheaval and progress—the American and French Revolutions, new ideas about freedom, and a push to break free from oppression. Aquarius, an air sign, is all about authenticity, innovation, and higher thinking. It’s about challenging outdated systems and exploring new ways to live and think.

Where Pluto in Capricorn (2008–2024) focused on consolidating power and revealing the limits of old systems, Pluto in Aquarius shifts the focus outward—distributing power among individuals, championing new ideas, and elevating the voices of the many rather than the few.

Historically, Pluto in Aquarius has been tied to the birth of democracy and ideals of equality. Yet, as history shows, these ideals come with contradictions and the work of inclusion is ongoing. This current Pluto in Aquarius cycle offers us another chance to expand who’s at the table and what true equality means.

We’ve seen the results of old patterns and thinking—now it’s time to break free. Pluto in Aquarius asks us to transform not only systems, but the very way we think, opening the door to new perspectives.

The Rise of Artificial Intelligence—and the Value of Your Own Mind

Artificial intelligence has become a bigger presence in our daily lives. But let’s not forget: AI is a product of human intelligence. Computers and digital tools can help us access information, but true growth comes from expanding our own capacity for learning, creativity, and insight.

As Pluto moves through Aquarius and Uranus—the planet that rules Aquarius—travels through Gemini, we’re entering a period where the mental realm is front and center. The next several years will be shaped by how we use our minds, share knowledge, and innovate together.

With outer planets forming a rare triangle from 2024 to 2029, we’re in a time of tremendous evolutionary potential. The focus is on ideas, consciousness shifts, and new solutions to old problems. Our understanding of the world—and ourselves—could change in remarkable ways.

Awakening Your Human Intelligence: What Does This Mean For You?

What does all this cosmic activity mean for your personal journey? It’s an invitation to question your assumptions and open your mind to what you have yet to discover. New beginnings in leadership, creativity, and self-understanding are possible when you embrace this spirit of curiosity.

We each hold a doorway to greater human intelligence—through our minds, bodies, and spirit. How are you using your unique intelligence to learn, grow, and become the best version of yourself? Whether in your family, your community, or your work, your role as a leader is about authenticity and continuous learning.

Being a leader isn’t about doing things a certain way—it’s about being true to yourself, and being open to shifting your own consciousness by learning what you don’t yet know.

The Power of an Open Mind

The next several years are a window of opportunity to discover what you’re truly capable of—if you’re willing to keep your mind open and embrace new ways of thinking.

Try playing with ideas, having conversations, journaling, taking a class, or sharing your perspectives with others. Acknowledge what you don’t know and be willing to challenge your old beliefs. That’s where true awakening happens.

Just like a caterpillar in its cocoon, you may find yourself in a state of not-quite-knowing—letting go of who you were and making space for what you can become. The butterfly knows things the caterpillar cannot even imagine.

Letting go of your old self prepares you for new knowledge and new adventures. You can choose to stay the same, but if you do, you might miss out on the incredible growth and intelligence waiting to emerge.

No matter your background or interests, you have the capacity to learn and grow in ways you’ve never imagined. When you open yourself to the possibility of new knowledge, your world expands.

So ask yourself: How am I becoming more intelligent? What might I discover if I let go of what I think I know?

Remember, technology and AI are just tools. Real wisdom and intelligence come from within you. Stay curious, keep learning, and explore new possibilities.

Thank you for joining me on this exploration of Pluto in Aquarius and the awakening of human intelligence. Here’s to your journey of growth, transformation, and creative power!
